Abstract
A minicomputer system has been developed to provide real-time management of visual field data. Records of a large population of patients with glaucoma in a university ophthalmic practice are stored on magnetic disks. Data storage has been semiautomated by means of a microprocessor-controlled recording device for standard perimeters. Existing visual field records may also be digitized by means of a magnetic graphics tablet. Records are retrievable in real time and are graphically displayed at video terminals.Entities:
