Abstract
Arthrodesis was performed on the right and left carpus of eight dogs, incorporating a fresh autologous cancellous bone graft in the right carpus. Histological evaluation of each carpus after the procedure demonstrated that although the grafted bone appeared dead, healing was significantly greater (P < 0 . 01) after 12 weeks if it had been used.Entities:
