Abstract

A potent inhibitor of cholesterol biosynthesis in rodents [BMVA; 5-(4-biphenylyl)-3-methylvaleric acid] inhibits metamorphosis of 4th stage larvae of the blood-sucking bug Rhodnius prolixus.
