Microleakage of composite resin restorations with different cavosurface designs.

J H Hembree.

Abstract

All the composite resins only restoration exhibited significant microleakage, regardless of the type cavity design used. The marginal leakage was significantly reduced or eliminated in restoration where the enamel at the cavosurface angle was etched and after insertion of the restoration.
