Abstract
Although Hemophilus influenzae infections have long been considered to be a disease of childhood, recent reports have demonstrated an increasing frequency of serious Hemophilus influenzae infections in adults. A case of purulent H. influenzae pericarditis in a previously healthy adult without evidence of concurrent H. influenzae infection is reported.Entities:
