Abstract
Wistar-Furth rats were infected subcutaneously with L3 larvae of Dipetalonema viteae, filaria of Meriones libycus. Lymph nodes draining the site of immunization contained numerous IgE-staining cells identified as lymphoid cells. In other lymphoid tissues, IgE-staining cells were rare. They were absent in the lamina propria of the small intestine. These data support the view that IgE lymphoid precursors are present in peripheral lymph nodes.Entities:
