Abstract
This report describes a major life-threatening haemorrhage in a 10-year-old child, following an intraduct rupture of an intrahepatic aneurysm of the right hepatic artery. The onset of the gastro-intestinal bleed was preceded by trauma which may have contributed to the rupture of the pre-existing aneurysm, although the documented initial injury was apparently slight. The bleeding was successfully controlled after ligation of the right hepatic artery.Entities:
