Abstract
Forty-nine patients with neuro-otologic symptoms were examined with regard to their risk factors, especially their lipoproteins. No essential differences were found in the serum triglyceride and serum cholesterol levels. LDL-cholesterol and the quotient LDL-cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol were significantly higher in the group of patients. We consider this an indication for a relation between arteriopathy and cochleovestibular disorders.Entities:
