Abstract
Intraoperative fiberoptic endoscopy has been recommended to identify the site of gastrointestinal hemorrhage in patients whose preoperative endoscopic and/or roentgenologic studies have been unrevealing but who require surgical intervention to control the bleeding. We report an undescribed complication of intraoperative endoscopy in such a patient.Entities:
