Abstract
The cooperative study COALL-80 is derived from the BFM-78-study. The aim of the study is a reduction of the initial therapy-morbidity and -mortality without loss of efficacy by omitting asparaginase from the four drug-induction regimen and interposing it between induction- and CNS-therapy phase. The expected two years disease free survival rate of a pilot study will be 82%. This finding is hitherto comparable with the BFM-study results.Mesh:
