Abstract
Nocturnal electromyographic recordings of masseter muscle activity were performed on 20 bruxist and ten control subjects. Each subject collected two 24-hour urine samples. An analysis of urinary catecholamine content was performed. A positive relationship was found between increased epinephrine content and high levels of nocturnal masseter muscle activity.Entities:
