Abstract
Six examiners evaluated dental formation on 191 radiographs, using an eight-stage system. Discrepancies between these examiners are generally of the order of +/- one stage, in about 20 to 25% of the cases. The authors thus suggest the use of reference radiographs, for the double purpose of ensuring a homogeneous rating by two examiners or more, as well as the assessment of eventual differences between populations.Mesh:
