Abstract
Knoop hardness measurements of UV-polymerized dental composites showed that, at a certain depth below the surface, the degree of cure rapidly decreases. The depth of cure was found to be critically dependent on the UV source and exposure time used. A theoretical model was derived which was in quantitative accord with the results.Entities:
