Abstract
Juvenile fibromatosis is a clinically aggressive but benign condition which does not commonly affect the jaws. Clinical and radiographic features are not specific, but diffuse lytic destruction of a portion of a jaw, especially the inferior border of the mandible, characterizes many cases. Histopathologic features are consistent and should be carefully observed to avoid a misdiagnosis of sarcoma. Three cases of juvenile fibromatosis affecting the jaws are reported; the patients were alive and well 9, 4, and 5 years, respectively, following therapy.Entities:
