Abstract
The early diagnosis of posterior fossa hematoma in three term infants by computed tomography is described. The clinical findings included difficult labor and delivery, sudden onset of apnea during the first 24 hours of life, tense bulging fontanel, falling hematocrit, bloody cerebrospinal fluid, and cerebral obtundation. Rapid operative removal of the clot resulted in good recovery in two of the infants.Entities:
