[The significance of the degree of malignancy and proliferation activity of laryngeal carcinoma for regional lymph node metastasis].

On the basis of histoautoradiography of 79 laryngeal tumours, the importance of the degree of malignancy and of 3H-TdR labelling index was analysed. The "dynamic histology" (degree of structural differentiation and proliferation activity) seems to be correlated with the frequency of neck lymph node metastases. This relation provides possibilities for an early diagnosis of node involvement and an early adequate treatment.
