Abstract
A large pedunculated myxoid liposarcoma of the cervical esophagus is presented. Because of its long pedicle, the presenting symptoms were primarily respiratory rather than digestive. The tumor lent itself to local excision rather than esophageal resection, given the absence of involvement of its pedicle and the resultant wide margin of excision. Review of the literature did not disclose a similar case.Entities:
