Post-traumatic rotational deformity of the lower leg.

C van der Werken, R K Marti.

Abstract

After a small series of patients with post-traumatic rotational deformity of the tibia treated by corrective osteotomy, we describe some diagnostic features and our indications for correction. Osteotomy must be considered for external rotation deformity of 20 degrees or more, and in cases of internal rotation deformity of over 15 degrees.
