[Postnatal development of transbasal skull openings: carotid canal, jugular foramen, hypoglossal canal, condylar canal and foramen magnum].

Abstract

The above mentioned portals and channels of the skull were measured at 98 skulls of infants with variable stages of life and discussed with the results of former investigators. Length, width, angles and distances to different points of the skull base and the median sagittal plane were measured.
