Abstract
The authors carried out comparative examinations in two groups of patients--before the work of Anaesthesia Outpatient Clinic and after it--as to intra- and postoperative complications as well as the numbers of the days of treatment. They point out that the proportion of both intraoperative and postoperative complications decreased. It was possible to prepare the 89.78% of the patients examined in the Anaesthesia Outpatient Clinic as outpatients, which means saving 1475 days of hospitalisation in a year. On grounds of these results, the authors suggest the introduction of Anaesthesia Outpatient Clinic in a wider sphere.Entities:
