Midfacial fractures in supine panoramic zonography.

The applicability of supina panoramic zonography in the radiologic evaluation of midfacial injuries is presented. In all, 80 patients were examined, 15 midfacial and 3 mandibular fractures were found. Zonographic technique has certain limitations in clinical use; advantages and disadvantages are discussed.
