Abstract
An oxazole compound, tioxaprofen, exerted a strong anti-mycotic activity against Trichophyton mentagrophytes and T. rubrum, which were major dermatophytes from patients. It was found that tioxaprofen was a potent uncoupling agent of mitochondrial respiration.Entities:
