Abstract
Vertical striated sand-papered twenty-nail dystrophy, an entity observed in both children and adults, is suggestive of an expression of alopecia areata. When the vertical striated sand-papered effect is not uniformly distributed over the full surface of the nail plates the disorder may be caused by lichen planus.Entities:
