Abstract
An unilateral case of corneal amyloidosis, presenting the clinical appearance and histopathological findings of a gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy in a 59-year-old male was reported. In the specimen obtained by a penetrating keratoplasty, amyloid was confirmed with light and electron microscopy. On the basis of histopathological findings, the origin of amyloid appeared to be closely related to the fibroblasts.Entities:
