Abstract
A pseudolipoma of the liver was an incidental finding in a 63-yr-old man. This is the 9th recorded case of hepatic pseudolipoma. Macroscopically these innocent lesions may mimic metastatic carcinoma whilst microscopically they must be distinguished from the equally rare true hepatic lipomas. Hepatic pseudolipomas probably represent trapped, detached appendices epiploicae.Entities:
