Abstract
The events leading up to the establishment of a separate primary care service for the homeless and rootless population in Manchester are described.The organization, funding and commitment of the project are outlined and an insight into the life-style of this population is provided.During the first quarter of 1981, 2,049 consultations were given. The most common causes for consultation were psychiatric, alcoholic and respiratory conditions.Entities:
