Abstract
The authors studied the cortisol response to 1 mg of dexamethasone in 10 patients who simultaneously manifested manic and depressive symptoms. All patients showed some evidence that normal cortisol suppression was lacking. When 3 patients were randomly retested after recovery, the results suggested the normalization of suppression.Entities:
