Abstract
A 29-year-old black woman had a peculiar variety of chronic pancreatitis that initially presented as a solid, discrete mass in the head of the pancreas. It mimicked carcinoma and exemplifies the diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma produced by such "pseudotumors" of the pancreas.Entities:
