Abstract
Eleven patients about to undergo pulmonary surgery received a bolus injection of 1 g of cefoxitin. The concentrations of cefoxitin in the serum 1 and 2 h after dosage were 38.5 +/- 1.89 and 23.7 +/- 2.56 mug/ml; the lung concentrations at the respective times were 12.6 +/- 0.7 and 10.06 +/- 0.43 mug/ml.Entities:
