Intraparenchymal fluid-blood level: a CT sign of recent intracerebral hemorrhage.

Abstract

Intraparenchymal fluid-blood level was demonstrated on computed tomography (CT) of seven patients with recent intracerebral hemorrhage not associated with either a cystic lesion or tumor. Mechanisms that may explain the CT appearance are discussed.
