Strain differences in responses of the circadian system to light in the Syrian hamster.

H Pohl.

Abstract

The circadian systems of 2 strains of the Syrian hamster responded differently to single short light pulses. The differences in the amplitudes of the phase response curves were associated with different ranges of entrainment of the circadian rhythms to periodic light pulses.
