Abstract
N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine and N-acetyl-L-cysteine are deacylated by enzyme preparations from kidney and liver in vitro. It is likely that this is caused by two different acylases. Michaelis constants and activities are shown. Kidney contains much more activity than liver per unit of weight. No activity can be detected in muscles.Entities:
