Abstract
A patient is described with hyperprolactinemia, post-pill amenorrhea, galactorrhea, and a normal pituitary fossa. Pregnancy occurred after induction of ovulation with bromocriptine. During pregnancy rapidly increasing visual field defects due to suprasellar extension of a pituitary tumor were observed. Operation was advised but refused. The patient was treated with bromocriptine in a dose of 15 mg daily, which resulted in normalization of the bitemporal hemianopia within 2 weeks.Entities:
