[Difficulties in obtaining a reliable test for determining the virulence of a parasitic flagellate (Trichomonas vaginalis)].

Base on intraperitoneal or subcutaneous inoculations, the tests of pathogenicity of T. vaginalis, for Mice, do not seem reliable, in our experiments. The impossibility of obtaining reproducible results is bound to the heterogeneity of reactions to parasite of Mice from the same strain. This individual effect demands a serious statistical study in the appreciation of pathogenicity.
