Abstract
A patient with thyrotoxicosis from Graves' disease had concomitant muscular paralysis, hypophosphatemia, and severe hypokalemia. The parallel depression and return to normal of these electrolyte abnormalities and his neurologic status suggested that cellular ion influx was related to the paralysis.Entities:
