Transient severe hypertension following alcohol withdrawal convulsions.

Abstract

A case of transient severe hypertension following alcohol withdrawal convulsions is described. In the absence of other recognized causes of hypertension it was concluded that the hypertension was caused directly by the convulsions themselves.
