Abstract
The survival of gonococci on various materials contaminated with gonococcal pus and stored at room temperature was studied. Gonococci were recovered for up to 3 days from a wide variety of hard and soft materials. It is possible that gonorrhoea is transmitted nonvenereally more often than is usually acknowledged, and these results may have medicolegal and social significance.Entities:
