Abstract
A procedure was standardized for extracting chloropromazine and its sulfoxide from the blood and for applying a recently developed fluorometric assay method to determine blood levels of these two compounds in schizophrenic patients receiving chlorpromazine therapy. The described methodology opens avenues for performing bioavailability and generic equivalence studies in humans.Entities:
