Abstract
Three young male patients are described in whom the attacks of epilepsy were precipitated by eating. The interictal EEG was abnormal in 2 cases. One showed generalized seizure discharges; the other unilateral and generalized seizure discharges. The attacks could only partially be controlled with anticonvulsants. Various mechanisms which may be responsible in precipitating the seizures are discussed.Entities:
