Abstract
Two insecticides, Endosulfan and Fenitrothion, were tested for their ability to induce mitotic crossing-over, mitotic gene conversion and reverse mutation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Treatment of cells with Endosulfan increased the frequencies of gene convertants and revertants. However, Fenitrothion treatment did not induce any of these genetic events.Entities:
