Abstract
A dual digital memory recursive filtering system provides an effective alternative to digital subtraction imaging by using routine fluoroscopic equipment operated with slightly elevated fluoroscopic technical factors. This is accomplished with relatively inexpensive portable electronic equipment that can be connected to the video output of most modern fluoroscopic systems. Initial clinical experimental studies suggest that the system can produce diagnostic images comparable with pulsed fluoroscopic digital systems. The temporal filtering approach offers a real-time vascular imaging technique that requires no postprocessing and can be used either with arterial or intravenous injections of contrast materials.Mesh:
