Abstract
Event-related potentials were recorded when a subject evaluated the outcome of a simple 'TV game' as successful/unsuccessful, where the 'goal' was specified randomly as one of two areas on the screen. The 'evaluation potential' elicited by the outcome was consistently larger for unsuccessful outcomes, regardless of the location of the goal.Mesh:
