Venous macroaneurysm associated with branch retinal vein obstruction.

G E Sanborn, L E Magargal.

Abstract

A saccular venous macroaneurysm was associated with a chronic ischemic branch retinal-vein obstruction. Only one case of a macroaneurysm involving a vein has been previously reported. Factors contributing to the pathophysiologic features of arterial, venous, and capillary macroaneurysms are also described.
