Abstract
Midline activity low in the pelvis seen on Ga-67 scans is frequently attributed to colonic excretion of radionuclide. We have seen two cases of infectious prostatitis with focal uptake of Ga-67 within the prostate gland. We describe a technique of using limited quantities of barium administered by enema and appropriate positional imaging, which localizes pelvic activity to the prostate.Entities:
