Abstract
The problems associated with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in two patients with megalophthalmic eyes are discussed. One patient initially received a posterior chamber IOL that proved to be too small for the internal diameter of the ciliary sulcus. It was removed and replaced with an iris-supported lens. The second patient received an iris-supported IOL that appears to be a satisfactory pseudophakic alternative for anterior megalophthalmic eyes.Entities:
