[Irreparable isolated dislocation of the radius head].

Abstract

Isolated traumatic dislocation of the radial head is rare. It occurs when the elbow is partly outstretched and the forearm pronated . Occasionally one is unable to achieve closed reduction. Then the open treatment is necessary. Posttraumatical myositis ossificans was described in the literatur .
