Abstract
With the heifer in a squeeze chute, a 6-inch incision is made at the left paralumbar fossa. The ovaries are removed with 8-inch bandage scissors and the incision closed with a single, everting horizontal-mattress suture. Spayed heifers can bring a premium price because they are guaranteed open.Entities:
