Abstract
A crude methanolic extract of the fruit of Nandina domestica Thunberg strongly inhibits serotonin-induced contractions of the rabbit aorta. The extract of the fruit has been fractionated to afford nantenine (O- methyldomesticine ) as the active agent.Entities:
