The negative correlation between mean corpuscular volume and erythrocyte count in anemic and non-anemic children.

A S Bredan, S M Bshiwah, N S Kumar.

Abstract

A significant negative correlation was observed between mean corpuscular volume and erythrocyte count in school children 6 to 14 years of age. Slopes of regression lines of MCV/RBC were significantly higher in anemic children than in non-anemic children but no significant difference was observed between boys and girls.
