[Etomidate as an anticonvulsive agent].

Abstract

Experiences with etomidate as an agent with hypnotic, brain protective and anticonvulsive effects are discussed. The application of etomidate is described at one patient with epilepsy and withdrawal symptoms after resuscitation.
